Nan's okay. She has to inject herself everyday among other things but we're getting back into the swing of things. Nerves are settled.

My fish are alive. Plus I got to look after two dogs, three birds and a bunch of chickens for a couple who went to Thailand.

I bought a computer, it's due to arrive any day now! A brand spanking new custom spec' Dell Studio XPS 8300.

Also bought a bookcase. Double hardwood. Got all my books out of their musty old boxes. Unfortunately I'm still trying to tackle the spider and mite problem, which no doubt is from having them stored in a damp dirty garage for too long.

New email so that people like ~Insanity-Engine will stop forwarding porn or Viagra offers. Why always Viagra? Why not vibrators or strap-ons? Not all of us have erectile dysfunction, or penises at all for that matter.

Throwing shit out. Trying to sell others. Making friends with art shop owners, buying things at cheaper prices (after discount).

Explored the newly reopened Irish pub. Many seedy jokes shared. Too bad half the town-goers are too chicken to brave this cold weather.

In short, many many good little things easing the way forward.

Soon, I'll be able to edit the designs and illustrations that have accumulated, and I'll worry about Internet after that.

Most of all, thanks again to you all. Words mean everything to me, even bad ones. The worst thing is to say none at all.

Before I wrap this up, thanks goes to ~kitana and her ordering a pizza with a unicorn on the box to my house XD everytime I've been down since then I see it on my shelf and can't help but laugh. That night was freaking gold...

Oh and this will be the strict profile for the Elma Faux series. I've been building a personal account. I won't be displaying it anytime soon but if you're desperate, just swing me a note.

Time for a feel good cup of tea...

P.S. If you can, you guys have to read Warm Bodies and The Monstrumologist. Both need to be made into feature films... I will offer my sexual organs for these to be made into feature films.

And then he heard it, quiet as it was. Simple against the harsh backdrop of a crazed mind: the tiny, soundless clicking of infinitesimal gears...

Maybe if I showcase a little physics, it'll spark our chemistry and then we can go and learn about biology under an example of astronomy.

I shall take your love, and ingest it so that I may have the energy to something ridiculus in order to amuse myself in these difficult days.

I'm conflicted :0

Was my sisters birthday yesterday but she's just moved in with the boyfriend... And his parents, who decided to invite their other son, her boyfriend's step-brother to move in... I'm sorting out something this weekend for her, then there's a sketchmeet the week after...

Not going to see that one man lord of the rings either. Plus I have to make up the money I put aside for the computer that was spent on this birthday thing.

So probably not going this year unless I find a fifty in the gutter this week.

Although, you had me thinking constantly over cosplay, and I decided if I could spare 800 bucks on prodetional prosthetics and makeup, I'd go as Princess Ruto... Yeah... That would be cool.

I stumbled upon your art from another person's favourite's funnily enough, I won't thank you for favouring because well- my work is not that great. However I must inform you that I want to watch you and your future uploads :plotting:
Your work has a very intruging style, it does remind me a lot of Da Vinci mixed with some bizarre gothic horror type... thing....

Firstly, let me say that your art is mindblowing. Seriously, it's just beyond words that you can produce stuff like this. Secondly, after reading a few of your journal entries, I offer condolences for your difficulties, and hope you overcome them. Finally, a fistbump for having the same taste in books, (Westerfield and Cornish.)

P.S. have you checked out the gnomon DVD of Thompson's workflow? If not, lemme know.

Good luck.

Firstly, I say Awwe shucks man thankyou! :la: As much as I regret not drawing as much as I used to when in Highschool, I have been writing a whole lot more and the few things I do draw are concepts I've personally made sure are developed through and through. Even I'm surprised I can produce some of things I do. I barely know what to do with myself.

Secondly, thanks again, but shit happens. I'll live.

Ohh and fistbump in all bumpy glory fo-sure! **bump**

And yes I do have Keith Thompson's Gnomon DvD and was both gorified and shocked at the digital process being so goddamned similar. I'm only glad I'm nowhere near as patient to be as realistic and get carried away with overly bright highlights and using more digital to add to lines than just render them. Yeah I do work similar, but I promised myself I'd only watch it again for entertainment (and awe) purposes and try and stake my own methods. It's good to know the possibilities utilised by other artists but I am strongly against mimicking them stroke for stroke.

I'm right with you on the stuff about style. Myself, I hover somewhere between Thompson and Cornish; I like the organic nature of Thompson's lines, as well as the force and weight of some of D.M.'s work. Personally, I go for heavy line weight to define the major shapes, then use organic / shaky strokes to define form in the pencilling stage. Then sculpt with colour in Corel.

Or at least, that's how it starts. Meh...
Anyway, thanks for the sincere reply, and again, good luck!
